I live full time in my RV in Alpine Ca. I run my Ryobi's in parallel period. I have a 15BTU AC Unit with a soft start installed. I warm my generators first because my inverter will draw a lot of juice to start charging my batteries from the night before. Once they are warm I will start my AC and it will run all day long until it cools down in the evening. Always check your oil, low oil will cause surging causing OVERLOAD, ALWAYS USE NGK BPR6HS spark plug. INSTALL A SOFT START TO YOUR AC UNIT TO AVOID OVERLOADS BRO PERIOD!!!!!!!

Mini Winter Solar Tip; You can gradually turn down a Beuler and all other hungry electricity consumers with the "5000W dimmer". Ebay €7. I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Kettle 2.2KW at 150W runs 12 hours a day, so the water is always hot. The room is also nicely heated. 2.5KW washing machine runs in parallel with dimmed to 200...400W. Iron, dishwasher, oven, electric heater, coffee machine, all internal heating are throttled with me. Videos about it on my channel kzitem.info/news/bejne/xnlo1aCYfHSZm2U The inverter stays cool, quiet and the MOSFETs remain intact because extreme current peaks no longer arrive at the inverter. Now every Mini PV Inverter is enough to sell large devices. So, with the dimmer, all internal heaters/devices can be converted into base load devices that stay almost permanently ON, drawing very little current directly from the PV. You can measure this with a wattmeter / energy cost meter.

This is very helpful. I have one of those generators, and I'm considering an upgrade. I was thinking about just getting a larger generator, but it would probably be a lot noisier and use a lot of fuel. Then I remembered that it's possible to run two of these in parallel. I wanted to see somebody actually do it, and see how it works. I am impressed that the app has the parallel mode built-in. This is great.
@jamie8917

I think one downside of running 2 smaller generators in parallel mode vs 1 larger generator is that the 2 smaller ones have less fuel capacity than a single larger one so the runtime will be less. In this video with his AC on it was only going to last 5 1/2 hours which won't even get through a night without refilling. I've seen another video where 2 paralleled generators were actually louder than a single larger generator.

If you want to burn out a winding on the stator or rotor just keep running them with the hotpot or nuke. Your right. I tried mine after letting it sit in the box for weeks. Mine ran fine for 20 min or so. I thought “cool” I’m out of the woods. NOPE. After it ran I emptied out the gas, had it in storage for a few weeks. Power outage come along “cool” I have a generator, but guess what it doesn’t run. It only “runs” with the choke on. I'll still use the Ryobi's on occasion for other power needs, emergencies or lending to family. I'll get a vid on the champion hopefully soon.
