Just stuff I see around me where I live and where I travel to. Often the things other people consider mundane I see something interesting in. I hope you like the clips and please leave comments if you do.
Japan seem to have influenced the look of Japanese anime characters and as well the current glam Asian boy bands. Great find! Japan should have been big in America but maybe because they broke up just as MTV was taking off in the US. Japan were looking 80s new wave in the 70s! - Way ahead of their time.

Kept awake too long only to be pied in the face for thanks. I wouldn't have the patience Mick had.

What a beautiful man and a great talent! I was so lucky I got to see him perform at The Bottom Line in NYC. I love all his work with Japan and favor his solo album, "Titles." My mom loved the song "Sensitive" and when I was young and still lived with her, she often made me play that song for her. She died over a month ago. In the fall I'm going to get a tattoo reading "Titles" in her honor; it will be something that was personal to my mom and myself. And will honor Mick Karn too. 🙏❤

This is a rare find.Typical Japanese show with the beautiful foreigners standing around for a lomg time or being ask banal national insecurity confirming questions like "Do you like Japanese girls?" Brave of Steve to say he didnt like Japanese food;many a gaijin has been cancelled for less!

A Giant amongst Bass players ,as good as the late Chris Squire,of Yes.His style of bass playing was unique, and I wish I could just get that "sound "he had on the bass,And another great band this country missed out on,for bubble-gum muzak.

They can hear the girls screaming in the background... Can't blame them. Dave, Mick, and Steve were ridiculously bishie. Even on low quality film it's obvious.

I agree @paulrymer, I'd have cringed even way back, I'd not be surprised if this was not a bit of a "go against DS, his personal life with a certain lady that for a while caused tension between them, plus, it went against DS dominence. But I was very surprised to see this,
