In case no one knows."Perdido" means lost. It's Spanish 😊 I personally can only give kudos to the bassist or double bassist reminiscent of Charles Mingus❤. Otherwise a weak Ella Fitzgerald weak Charlie Parker weak Diz can't mention Bud Powel😢Max Roach 😢

Tight band, nice solos and OMG, killer vocals! So brave for any woman to sing Ella, but she made it her own!

I'm pretty darn sure, the lead Trombone player is Elliott Mason of Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra!! If I'm wrong is because I'm watching/listening on a Crappy phone 😄 And also didn't see the very beginning!!

I Strongly Disagree, the Pianist is excellent, but Dan Nimmer, he's not!! But Damn they're all pro level, they sound similar to the famous Jazz band of Mt. Hood Community College of Oregon!!

Thanks for posting AZ! Do you happen to know what is going on at 3:24? Does the singer choose not to sing the lyric "cotton?" Or is the audio edited somehow that her part is left out?

the solo artists are just great. If you couldn't see them, one would think they be professionals. Will say the piano player just doesn't fit in with jazz, more a classical player..

I fr have no clue how they judge sometimes. There are times where I believe it’s accurate and there are times where I feel like people didn’t get enough credit. I’m not a jazz expert though, so idk how they judge musicality.

Interesting thought... Someone should copy this video. And, the after some Marxist teacher lectures students about "critical race theory." Invite everyone interested to stay after to watch a six minute video to show what BS that theory really is. This video is America being America when allowed to be her self!
