The one thing about these mini-balers, and with all makes, it is never shown how it is determined when the baler is full. Personally, I don't like them. Never have liked round bales. Harder to stack. And for this market, 2 or 3 string bales are easier to handle & more marketable.

I reckon regular square bales are easier to stack/store. Depending on the compact tractor I'm sure they can be run just fine.

square bales take more power to make than round bales but they are definitely more ergonomical.

Small square bales are kinda common where I live but I've never seen small round bales

The old style 2 or 3 rectangle bales are best for small acreage. These small round balers are relatively new. Given my choice for this size of field. I'd take traditional bales anytime over these.

Brings back memories of being out in the hot Alabama sun. Sweaty, itchy and thirsty. Stacking regular bales 8 layers high into the bed of a 73 GMC pickup.
