I am a level 3 rope access technician. Been climbing ropes for 5 years now and spend every work day on ladders. This is insane. The idea that those pieces of wood he’s whamming those pieces of iron into will hold is CRAZY. When he got to the top of the first ladder with nothing but his hands and feet holding him in place, I said “NOPE”, I can’t imagine what it would be like further up. The Industrial Revolution, pre unions and workplace safety regulations, created jobs like this and that is wild. There are bosses and executives in office spaces who paid his salary with absolutely zero care for his life. Unreal.

It's funny watching the film crew in a boom lift watching fred put the ladders up to inspect the chimney. Seems like they could have inspected the chimney with the lift and been down at the pub formulating repair costs with minimal labor involved in a fraction of the time lol.

And we go from a video of a guy doing a real, tangible, productive, job - to an advert where a wide-boy wanker is trying to peddle a get-rich-quick scheme based on nothing much at all. Britain is it was against Britain how it is.
