Thanks for the videos. I created my first Hueforge and when i import it into Bambu Studios, my layer height is off. I am wanting to get more layers of white but it is maxed out even when I go to a .04 layer height. How can i fix this? Is there a way i can send it to you
@NeoKoiPrints

There is a max depth option on the bottom right side of the screen. You can also change it from dynamic to static depth so youll get exactly what you want Sometimes the slicers will cut off your top most layers because its simplifying it down. This only really happens when you have small spikes and doesnt effect the overall quality. Im assuming this isnt happening to you but its good to know regardless

Weve got 3Dprinttopia at the end of this month so the whole team is gearing up for that right now. Sometime in October or November if all goes well. Theres also the option to purchase the Thangs membership for $10 a month and youll get access to the commercial tier. Its so people have a way to see if they can sell stuff without paying the lifetime costs upfront, but has the added benefit of betas. I appreciate the kind words. Im trying to help out the brand new people so they dont get frustrated and never try it again

So I'm new to hueforge in general and learning. I was working with color match and got to something I liked and wanted to test print. Went to slice it and it looked nothing like the hueforge coloring I settled on. I'm confused on what I did wrong, if it's the mesh or the depth. Any ideas?
@NeoKoiPrints
23 күн бұрын
In hueforge, use middle mouse click on your project. Itll show you the “slicer view” If the slicer looked like hueforge, you would t need the software
@mikelowry4738
22 күн бұрын
@@NeoKoiPrints Ah ok thank you. Is there a way to hold it there on the slicer view so I can work on it? I figured the color core was what you'd get. Now I'm confused on what's the point of having that and not the slicer view lol. Quick Edit: I think I've realized using color match is pretty hard using only 4 colors so I had to jump to 6. Thanks to your tips I was able to go between editing the image and the Hueforge to get something close to what I'm happy with. Thank you gain.
@NeoKoiPrints
22 күн бұрын
@mikelowry4738 Slicer view is just to help you double check your work. If slicer view matches what your slicer looks like, you know youre good to print. Otherwise something is messed up somewhere. Its not what you want to work in. Hueforge’s whole job is to show you how your filaments will blend at different layer heights. People were doing all of this guess work in the slicer before hueforge and it is such a pain because you dont know how the outcome will truly look
@IntuitiveTech

@NeoKoiPrints
Ай бұрын
Absolutely. If you have a low TD blue (0-4td) and stack a mid TD red (5-8td) or higher, on top of it, it’ll look purple when it’s done printing. Thats what hueforge’s job is, to show you how these colors will blend based on their opacity
