I still think that you should try the tubercles on the opposite side, with that leading into the wind.

Both sides. Many whales have them on both sides. Curiously they have them on their nose too.

Robert, Would you consider adding then demonstrating the adding of owl wing trailing edge combs to the three samaras blades trailing edges to see if rotational turbulence is reduced for the trailing blades leading edge whale tubercles following in the rotational turbulence. Modern aircraft when flying or landing are spaced three minutes apart to allow the air's fluidity to smooth out. When three blades follow each other rotational I was wondering if the owls combs would smooth the air straight away. All three blade mods in hopes of stepped increasing blade efficiency when following each other while spinning. Thank you for considering this request for comparison of all three blade designs in a video for all to see. Enjoy each Day. Say hello to Luke. I hope Luke's University studies continue, and He is happy with His study success, and progression.

I've been intrigued by samara seeds forever. Some are more flat and some are more wrinkled like yours but it doesn't seem to affect the spinning motion that much at all so why don't you flatten the blade more to an ideally shaped samara (there's enough models on google) and just look if that shape is more efficient than the traditional turbine blade. What makes me wonder the most is that Samara spins on a center point. Shouldn't that center point also be the center point of your 3 bladed design (aka. the axle)?

Have you already tryed it on your Rose wind turbine?

25 Years ago I remember standing next to a Sperm Whale sculpture transfixed by the tubercles. Sadly I had no inkling of fluid dynamics at the time, so I chalked it up to being some enigmatic structural component, or genetic anomaly. I think it is very astute of you to combine those two distinct natural forms, good job. Thank you for showing us the Sculpt GL app as well.

26:00 I'm sorry but I don't agree with your testing methods.

Wind comparison test of the two seems conclusive, but what if you switched hands and held them up at the same height?
