The red clip knowledge was great. Your video made it much easier for me. Thanks!

Two years I’ve been dealing with Arctic air or desert heat. This was all it was! Got the part and it took me about an hour with some basic hand tools. Thanks man!

This was a GREAT help! Thank you. Two tricks I used when replacing, 1st two little pieces of 2 sided tape on the foam gasket to hold the resistor in place, and second, I dipped the tip of my T22 socket into thick grease which held the screws to the tip, as this was tough access and my screws kept falling off. Luckily anything that dropped just fell to the floor mat area.

What about speeds 1-3 working, and the blower not working at all on the highest speed? I can't find the the right video.

oh man. thats an interesting one. that would probably take more diagnosing. possibly the switch itself has gone bad.

Replaced it, but when I put the negative post back on it was a spark, when I started it up it was missing, never did that before. Took it on a ride, it cut off while driving and never started up again. It's parked, won't start, no bus. Help

Oh man. Theres a bunch of things that could cause that. My guess is it's just bad timing when you took the battery cable off... once you do that you reset everything. So idk man

Excellent video, Mine make a noise when I move the air positions and I feel how the ac lost power, till now, I’m not sure what it can be.

If the blow motor resister doesn’t work would it affect the AC as well?

All the resistor does is regulate the power going to the blowed motor(fan). If you're ac is working properly it'll still work but only when the fan is blowing on high. If you turn your ac on and fan on high and you're not getting cold air, something else is going on. You can check under the hood and see if the compressors clutch is engaging when you have the ac on.

Zero reasons to unhook the battery for this job.

Technically anything to do with a electrical system, you should unhook the battery... just one of those better safe than sorry instances.
