I just hit 13 months carnivore and it has changed my life! i started at north of 715lbs i was stuck in the house for over 2 years and i was on home oxygen 24/7. i had congestive heart failure, reactive airway disease, depression, anxiety, lymphedema, and many other issues. ive lost 262lbs so far, i have my mobility back, im off oxygen, and off all meds, my depression and anxiety is completely gone. everything has healed and is either 95% to 100% healed! A literal answer to prayer ! i love hearing people changing their lives with carnivore too. Keep up the great work!

I hit 1 year last week. BF% from 37 to 16, 247lbs to 160, a1c BP fasting insulin triglycerides are all way down. Anxiety, depression, and chronic back pain are all gone. My erections are of HS quality, energy is up, and my wife says that I am aging backwards. The only downside is that I had to buy new clothes at least three times, from XL to S. 🤷🏾♂️ Keep up the good madam.

I’ve been following you and love it. I can’t stand a lot of KZitem influencers. Honestly. I’m 7 months in and def agree with it being the base of my eating. Even when I go out I stick to it and nobody cares. What are your cheat rules? When? How often? Do you drink alcohol? I hardly drink but sometimes I want to have fun. I’ve been very strict and disciplined with this diet. I did add fruit and honey a month ago. I’m very active. Also, I never had the Keto-Flu. Only complaint is my sleep has been not the best since I started. I started taking Huberman’s sleeping stack. It’s been better and deeper.

Good work! 36 pounds is a lot considering I'm sure you've gained a few pounds of muscle too. The DEXA-scan, as I previously said, doesn't account for water loss due to lowered inflammation and glycogen stores. You haven't lost lean mass; you've lost water. I like the honesty throughout the video. I myself am going for meat, butter, some berries, cucumber and feta cheese. Thinking about doing this for a while before cutting down on the remaining plants. It's below 20 grams of carbs/day and about 70/30 fat/protein ratio. Feels good.

I have a jar of pink Himalayan salt, a jar of potassium chloride and a jar of magnesium glycinate. I add them directly to my food. Also, almonds are high in magnesium for those who like nuts and of course high calories, good fats and more. Basically, I am often low on energy and kind of beat. Why? Because I pee every 2 to 3 hours all day and night. The whole day is not the problem of course. But the whole night, what can I say, I am toast. I have no cancer. I guess I have an enlarged prostate or whatever. It is just the way it is. Once in a blue moon I get a good sleep as I don't wake up to go to bathroom (for whatever reason) and that is when I am loaded with energy. I don't know about other people, but I just can't have it all. 🙂 With the keto/carnivore I lost 40 lbs. after some 5 months or so from 210 to 170, actually lower more like towards 165 lbs. I bottomed out. I like to go to 160 and I tried but too much misery with the fasting and all. It never worked for me because I got hungry as a horse afterwards. (I think I will do something different. (I am going to cut back on the dairy which will be tough because I love cheese. Also, the nuts) and see if I can lose another 5 or so lbs. Broccoli, artichoke hearts, sauerkraut, kimchi, chia seeds, yeast flakes, blueberries and avocados stay on the menu. Thanks for everything you do.

Awesome to see your progress! The hair loss from stressors is very real. 1. Thank you for talking about it because 2. If you have the stressor (like diet change) but then you waffle about it (omg, losing hair, better stop … but then try again in a few months) … you can prolong the massive shedding and cause yourself extended grief. It will likely come back, but it takes 3-6years especially if you have long hair. So if youre going to try carnivore, pls do it. Completely. For at least 90 days. If you stop, stop because you decide it is not EVER going to be right for you. If you think it might be right for you but youre hating it today, remind yourself to keep trucking to whatever end point you started with. Or find a support group! Go. Or stop. But get out of the middle of the road. ❤❤

The reason I ask is that if I go carnivore, I have to battle a skeptical unsupportive household and it would be helpful to share with them a “just the facts” video that dispels the common criticisms of carnivore, from the perspective of a person who not only did it, but someone who obviously super-tracked their relevant medical data. Again, great video and story. Thank you for all you are doing.

Screw all that I have a cheat meal every 7-10 days 😁 and zero problems / issues. Lost 37 pounds in the first 6 weeks (goal weight is only about 10 more pounds and it's going slow due to more weights/strength at gym than cardio) ... I'm on week 12 and what's helped me I believe to never experience keto/Carnivore flu is taking grass fed beef liver pills and 2 clean no additive protein shakes every day - one whey and one casein. So far my BP has gone down from regularly 140-150 over 100-115 to 120-130 over 80-90. General all day fatigue and moderate/severe tiredness also gone. .... I personally would just suggest to anyone starting out on carnivore immediately implement grass-fed beef liver pills into your diet unless you plan on eating animal organs at least three or four days a week. And one thing which I think is just kind of a given but not mentioned in this video is to drink your complete necessary water intake plus some everyday. Also shop around as there are much cheaper alternatives than the extremely overpriced LMNT electrolytes

I love that you are tracking scientifically how your body is reacting to this new way of eating and sharing the results, both the positive and the negative, so honestly. I have been IF and 2 meals a day on dirty keto for a few years and have avoided gluten because of Hashimotos. This year has seen my weight balloon as carbs have steadily crept back in. I am inspired to make the change to carnivore. Listening to your early issues with Keto flu I figure it will be best to prepare gradually and to go through my food cupboards and toss out anything that is likely to set back my goals. I had some health issues last year and lost a lot of hair so I will definitely track my intake and manage the electrolytes. I am in Australia so no LMNT for me but I do take celtic salt throughout the day and magnesium glycinate each evening and a pinch of potassium citrate to balance it all out. Thanks for sharing. 🥰

Hi just found you via this video, I'm pleased to see you intermittent fast too, I'll check out your other vids to see how long you've been doing that later. Like you I check my progress as an English type 2 diabetic we have to fund our own glucose monitoring, which I started doing around 2018 but I can't afford a Libra but that's OK. Ive got a blood pressure monitor too and been keto/carnavore since Jan 1st with the past 2 weeks being knocked out due to suffering a cold which went through our house quickly but I was over it quicker than the men in my life who eat crap basically. I'm just here to acknowledge your comment on higher morning blood glucose readings. Its known as the "dawn effect" our body creates its own glucose to ready itself for waking up and "going out to hunt" by lunchtime on fasting it's dropped into a good range and I find I'm more energetic at this point of the day. I can even go as far as 2pm without the need for food which is super handy and can schedule my more active chores in at that time. Thanks for your content, the world needs to know about this more!

Did carnivore last year in August for 30 days and lost 18 lbs total. I lost 12 lbs the first week and 6 lbs the other 3 weeks. I tracked my weight every day. Carnivore flu wasn't that bad and felt better by 3rd week. I just started carnivore again 9 days ago and on day 7 I had already lost 13.4 lbs. This go around has been different though. I have been drinking a lot of water and 1 pack of electrolytes in the morning but, I have had HORRIBLE cramps! My biceps, triceps, forearms, hands, abs, ribs, back, neck, hamstrings, calf muscles, and FEET! OMG my feet cramping and hamstrings at night were the worst! My fiance is a physician so she ordered blood work to check my levels. I was high in calcuim and low in Vitamin D. The last 2 days I've been taking 2 multivitamins in the morning with 10,000 mg of Vitamin D and 2 more multivitamins in the afternoon with dinner. No more cramps so far. 🫣 I eat a ribeye every night for dinner and sashimi one night on weekends. Breakfast is 3-4 eggs and bacon. I've been skipping lunch. The carnivore flu feels worse this time. 😩 Feel like crap but I'm fighting through it. When I started my weight was 248.8 lbs and on day seven I weighed 235.4 lbs. This time I'm going to check my weight once a week instead of daily. My goal is to reach 200 lbs by my wedding in January 2025. 😅 Congrats on your journey! I'm just starting mine.

I'm still drinking 1 or 2 electrolyte packs a day and plenty of water. 10+ bottles of water a day. Any ideas? Anybody else seeing cramps like this all over your body? I had very few cramps the first time I tried carnivore, but nothing like this. I'm now just over 2 weeks into carnivore and I've lost 14.6 lbs. 13.4 lbs the first week and 1.2 lbs the second week.

I would suggest keeping a simple journal. I was hesitant to go completely carnivore and we still say we are keto eating olives, pickles, avacado. When we started we were eating more vegetables while eliminating all pasta, rice, bread and grains....And things improved however I started noting in my journal that I was getting more "intestinal fireworks" when eating brocolli or any salad....I'd not have believed it if I'd not kept notes and it helped me to continue to evolve to now being mostly carnivore. Best wishes in your journey and remember that nothing in life is a straight, flat , direct line. There will be ups and downs and squiggles. Embrace them as part of the process.

@@daleval2182 I'm not addicted to fruit. I did 60 days with (mostly) no sugar or carbs. Telling someone they are addicted to fruit/sugar is a common carnivore gaslight technique. I was experiencing: palpitations daily, constipation, extremely low energy, brain fog, mood swings, cramps. Let me guess, I just wasn't doing it right? Sure. Another gaslight comment. How can the "proper human diet" be so hard to do for so many people? You need vast amounts of either salt and/or electrolyte supplements that all of these youtubers are selling. That's a red flag.

The dexascan, labs that you order for yourself, and the CGM monitor info is great. I’m a doctor and unfortunately we are limited in what labs we can order. There has to be a clinical reason that justifies the lab, otherwise the insurance company won’t pay for it. I don’t see why the patient can’t pay for the extra labs. What plan do you recommend for the cgm, do they support carnivore way of eating?
@JennyMitich
7 ай бұрын
Hello! I use the Nutrisense app because they have the best data in my opinion out of all of the non-diabetic continuous glucose monitor apps, I do not use their nutritionist. You can definitely eat carnivore using the Nutrisense app, I don’t really input my food there, I use MyFitnessPal for that. I just look at my glucose data. They have lots of different plans, one month is like 300 and something dollars, comes with two continuous glucose monitors and the use of the app. So they have the one month commitment, and then I think three, six, and 12 month commitments, and the price goes down from there. You can also get a continuous glucose monitor from an online doctor and just pay to use the app, I think it’s a yearly charge and it is significantly cheaper than going through Nutrisense to get the CGM’s
