Excellent stuff. Thank you. One thing. Apples weather app is terrible. Too much to go through just the get rain info (as you described). I couldn’t take it anymore so I purchased Carrot weather. Pricy, but extremely accurate and tons of options. Wish Apple would just revert back to the way Dark Sky used to be. That was very accurate and to the point. Really miss it.

You can't, because it's not usually how we read pages. We begin from the beginning, the top, and move our way down. You rarely want to go immediately to the end of a page, but more often you want to go back up to the top, for various reasons.

Great video as always. I don’t have the facility to enable Siri to access health data. I’m on the latest version of iOS and in the UK. **Edit** Solved it, you have to make sure your Siri voice model is set to American along with the language and then it will work.

Try using a Siri statement first. So say to it something like "record my blood pressure at..." etc. It should then tell you that you need to go to Settings to enable it, and the setting should then appear (learnt about this after the video was shot, sadly).

How do you take your blood pressure?
@ProperHonestTech
Ай бұрын
With a blood pressure monitor/reader... this tip is about storing your reading, not taking the reading itself. Just like if you stored your weight, you'd weigh yourself on scales, then put the reading into the Health app to track it.
@benjilafouine
Ай бұрын
@@ProperHonestTech That’s what I thought. There are apps allowing you to take your blood pressure with an iPhone but they seem unreliable due to the fact that it needs to be taken at arm level.

@breonnie

Ok question of the day! Year? You have a great channel. Your channel and dozens of others provide some really interesting and useful knowledge about phones, tablets and all kinds of tech. Thank you for that. Question: why doesn’t (in this case) Apple provide these tips? Every time I see one of these 10 hidden, helpful, unknown tip videos it makes me think Apple doesn’t let the left hand know what the right hand is doing. And in fact don’t know themselves what’s going on. Long press on the flashlight to change intensity? How simple can that be to let people know that? Unless they don’t know that and some programmer just added it as a joke. Not trying to put you out of business but to me it just makes Apple look stupid. And to say that there’s just too much stuff is BS. If someone at Apple doesn’t know all this stuff, and share it, then what else are they hiding about what their phones, tablets, computers can or can’t do? Thanks for letting me rant. 😃
