You guys, this helped so much! Alex and I went from totally hopeless with choctaws to completely able to do them after just watching this one video. Thank you!!!! (We're still laughing about how dumb we looked trying to do them before. Proper technique works! Who knew? LOL.)

Elisa Koshkina Glad we were able to help! Besides the Cha Cha and Fiesta Tango, is there anything else you guys have questions on? Basics are super important and working on them daily will raise your skill level substantially.

Kseniya and Oleg Official Channel We were planning to wait a while to ask you these, so as not to be too demanding, but since you were so kind as to ask, if you could show us a few basic dance spins that you especially like, and also some brackets, that would be really wonderful. Thank you!!! (Also, we were skating at a different rink today [ours is booked for a hockey tournament, argh], and we met an older couple who were stroking around the rink in a Kilian hold, so we talked to them, and they said they were interested in learning the prelim dances. We told them about your channel. They seemed very interested, so you may have some new subscribers soon!) :) Спасибо огромное!!!!!

Elisa Koshkina Hi Elisa, would be happy to! It will probably be a few weeks because we're competing at Sectionals next week at our rink (Fox Valley Ice Arena), but we will definitely get to them. We appreciate you spreading the word!

Pssssshhh it's so easy! Look how she just flows! *trips over herself 100 times* I did flexibility training just for pride (splits and biellmanns!). However, I realized that it has improved my skating dramatically... You have great turnout, Oleg. I'm jealous. :P

Hi Iomoon! I'm glad your turnout is getting better, and don't worry we all fall, just watch our Lake Placid Short Dance lol.

Thank you for these videos, I think almost every aspiring skater searches KZitem for tutorials and I am so glad you guys put the time to make such detailed videos, thank you so so much. ^_^ I've been trying to learn the eagle spread, I can imagine the exercise against the board shown here will also help the flexibility for the eagle spread but could you guys kindly do a tutorial for eagle spread as well? Thank you so much!

Why is it called Choctaw? I'm a citizen of the Choctaw Nation Of Oklahoma.

Yeah that's a good question. Skating as we know it has been around for about 150 years and a lot names come from back them. Though it's a little different with jumps, as they are usually named after the first person to do them. As for Choctaws and Mohawks, I am guessing they were named after the respective peoples, as a lot things in America are. Does it bother you?

We're no longer together as a team, so no new videos, but check out our Choctaws playlist as it may help you.
