In this video, we’ll show you 10 fundamental cone dribbling exercises that work on close ball control. These exercises are effective whether you're a beginner learning how to dribble and maneuver the ball, or an advanced player looking to keep your touches and control sharp. Practice these drills to improve you ball control and dribbling skills.

For exercise 1, weave through the cones by tapping the ball continuously between the inside of your right and left foot. Keep your knees slightly bent, with a light bounce to your step.
For exercise 2, use the inside and outside part of your left foot only to dribble. Focus on building a good rhythm by taking two quick touches in between cones.
For exercise 3, use your right foot to perform the same maneuver as in exercise 2.
For exercise 4, use ONLY the inside part of both feet to dribble through the cones. Build a rhythm by taking two quick touches in between cones.
Exercise 5, use ONLY the outside part of both feet through the cones. Be sure to move your feet a bit quicker here and shift your body to the side of the ball before taking a touch.
For exercise 6, focus on taking one larger touch in between cones. Push the ball with the outside of your foot then quickly stop the ball with the sole of that same foot and repeat the other way.
Exercise 7 is similar to the previous exercise, but instead combines the inside and outside of both feet. Again stop the ball with your sole once you dribble through the cones.
For exercise 8, continue to dribble with the inside and outside of both feet, but now without stopping the ball. Focus on building a 2 touch rhythm in between cones.
For Exercise 9, tap quickly with the inside and outside parts of the same foot, then stop the ball and repeat in the opposite direction.
For exercise 10, dribble with the inside part of your feet and take only one touch to get through the cones
