Definitely wise to cut the run short so close to the race. Last thing you want is to have to pull out for 2 extra miles today. The run might have been hard but if youve just battled a bug, you did great to gst out. Todays hard is tomorrows easy ✊️

Get on a bike and do tabata classes , I’ve found it’s really improved my cardio & stamina in running

@@Tony79Mud I've been doing a bit of spinning, which is interval work but yes, I need to do more, especially as I can't run at the moment. Good point
