I have been on a Paleo diet for about 17 years. Recently I have had a lot of stress and a number of food sensitivities, etc. I am currently on a low FODMAP elimination diet. After "hitting the wall" out of frustration at the beginning of the week. I realized that I really needed to focus on finding recipes and a variety of foods to eat. I have enjoyed watching your videos, because many keto foods are similar to low FODMAP. Anyway, I created a fabulous peanut butter and carob breakfast shake this morning! 3/4 to 1 c lactose-free milk, one level tablespoon peanut butter, ~ 1.5 tst carob powder, and better stevia glycerin drops (8). I blended it in a tall glass with a stick blender. It was rich, creamy, and very satisfying. 😊

My weight has stabilized. My stomach has lost most of its bloat. The slight puffiness is gone from my feet and hands. This only applies to me. It's not a miracle diet but it did accomplish what I had set out to do which was to control my diabetes. You must always do what you feel is appropriate for you. Only thing on this list I would go for is the bone broth and the pork rinds. Actually I find I do better if I don't snack at all, but if I get a salt craving I grab a garlic stuffed olive. I would gain weight. But to each his own.

Great point! I totally agree with this. And I wished that I would have said something like that in the video. I think the longer you eat keto, the less you have a desire or urge to snack. @GothicElf68

@@candiceteeter9757 True, the actual trick to keto, from what I have been reading, is making sure to actually count one's macros and take in the number of grams they need for their caloric needs. Many people like organic foods because they do not like all the additives in normal foods. Frankly, I cannot blame them. Some studies have shown a possible link between these additives and dementia causing diseases, such as Alzheimer's. Still, there is not a lot of research on that, yet. Honestly, if I could afford to eat solely organic keto foods, I likely would. That being said, I fall into the category of people whose financial means simply excludes that. For us, I return to my prior statement. Focus on the total grams one needs for each macronutrient to o0btain their caloric needs.

This is so similar to the Atkins Diet, I find it disturbing. There are so many reasons to not have such an extreme imbalance overall - Atkins himself died of heart disease. Other than the garnishments you put in your tuna salad, you offer no snacks that are fruit or veggie based. I think the overall determination regarding the Atkins approach was that it’s ok for a short period of time but not for a lifetime. Our bodies require a balance of acidic and alkaline foods, 80%/20% balance with emphasis on the alkaline side, to be truly healthy.

I get by just fine without keto snacks. I eat once a day -- dinner, 6 to 8 pm. Other than that, I don't have a single bite of anything all day long. This is a good video for snack recommendations but I would totally disagree as to how "important" they are to have on hand. And why would you say, "you probably already have this snack in your pantry..."??? First of all, I don't have a pantry, I have cabinets, and second of all, I HATE tuna fish.

Your a very small percentage. Don’t get so bothered. This is her opinion that works for her and could clearly work for others. This video represents freedom! 🇺🇸

Apparently, keto is a rich person's lifestyle. EVERYTHING she just listed is ridiculously priced...

In her pork rinds video she threw pork rinds on the floor to be stepped on, and she actually thought it was funny.

we do Keto yet we don't pay for the hype of the name of product. Yes I get Extra Virgin Olive oil , have always used this item. However I simply can't afford the bars, the protein powders ect. Even the discount codes don't help..

JIMMY FRANKS No, it’s only expensive if you buy processed snacks. It’s cheaper to make your own or just not snack. Pork rinds are pretty cheap.

@Sasuntidictous Rhoireiphapos I suppose it primarily depends on the brands...this video pushes the top of the line brands. I love pork rinds...not so much the jerky or sardines.

I mix a can of sardines to 2 sm cans of tuna for tuna salad ... I can't stomach them as is, but want the nutrients.

That's a really good idea. When I first started eating them, I would mashed them up with mayo and convince myself it was tuna salad. LOL

Hi I love your channel, but have a question about pork rinds: aren't they deep fried? I worry the frying oils are nasty ones....

I see you had both the Lono Life and Bare Bones bone broth packets. I definitely prefer the Bare Bones brand because it has no natural flavors in the ingredients. Plus It tastes better IMO. 💯 💥 🙌

There are so many people who don't eat pork for either religious or health reasons, so why don't you see more chicken rind options? Are they too expensive to make? I used to have a halal market that would save their chicken skins for me and I would make my own rinds but I just wish their were more convenient options. Anyone know why these aren't as popular as pork rinds?

I read the comment below mine that says please kill the music, I don’t agree I think the music is fine and I like the choice that you made. So I guess half of your audience like the music half of your audience won’t so do what pleases you.

Considering you are talking about being healthy, I was shocked to hear you mention eating pork. Do you know how filthy this animal is to eat? A pig can eat a dean animal and within two hours this filth is in the animal. You acnnot make something as filthy as thsis clean!

I just found this video. I noticed it was posted 2 yrs ago. I’m hoping there are more suggestions for those of us with seafood, shellfish and nuts allergies. It seems that most of the suggestions don’t take into consideration food allergies.
