I remember a few years ago when the Hellcat came out with 707 hp. Wow! That's all we talked about! Did the introduction of the Hellcat spur the current hp race? I think it did. Reminds me of the 60's factory hp wars! Now everyone that mods their cars are shooting for 700+ to keep up with the stock Hellcat. Problem is, the Hellcat guys are modding their cars! So now 700+ hp is not enough! Boost Baby Boost! Now just put that to the ground and you have something special! Go to the strip and show off, be prepared to break something!

I really drive my 2015 6spd 392. I got it with 2k miles and now it has over 75k miles. I don’t have to worry about MDS since it’s only offered in the Auto. The car has been out of warranty for a few months now and so far so good. Everything in the car is original including the clutch. I don’t baby the car but I don’t trash on it 24/7 and I’ve only taken it to the track once. It has some rock chirps and minor scratches, but I kinda look forward to those, I feel like the car is aging along with me. These cars are an experience, it really does make you not care about anything else on the road. Are there faster cars? Sure, better handling? Absolutely… do I care? Absolutely not.

And maybe it's just my opinion, but you shouldn't let some bad influencers dictate your actions. You can control them just like they can't control you. That would be like saying you don't want to own a Mustang because people run into crowds with them. I respect your opinion, and it's your right to have it. I worked at a series of Chrysler dealerships over the years. I read an internal memo that noted the Hemi tick. If you use the vehicle for any severe service use, such as police or taxi use (racing would qualify as severe service). It was recommended to use SAE 5W40 full synthetic. Also add some ZDDP to boost the zinc levels as zinc is a lubricant for ferrous metals under heavy pressure. Change oil at 4000 miles. Use Mopar oil filter 0488 4899 AC-001 box is also labeled MO-899. My 392 has no tick. I also bought a Diablo tuner and disabled the MDS. I keep mine garaged at all times with a blocker truck behind it that is notorious for not starting. Plate C

I've had my 1320 about 4 months and while it's a decent car it's not really meeting my expectations. I ve had numerous minor issues, gas mileage is worse than I thought it would be, I've bought 2 sets if wheels for winter as the first didnt fit over the front brakes and I haven't been able to get under 5 sec to 60 yet. I spent nearly 3 years trying to decide bet this, a Camaro or another stang and then which trim to get. My salesman recommended I get the WB and now I'm thinking I should have. I did get a good deal so I guess I could trade it in for a WB, mach 1 or wait for the new Z, but hate to give up the 0% financing and the stress of trying to get a good deal on another car.
