This morning I was going to the store to pick up some lemons and I happened to walk by grapefruits first. The price was about 33% more for one grapefruit versus one lemon, but the grapefruit was about four times bigger. I used the grapefruit with coarse sea salt to clean my bathroom. It was much juicier than lemons too, and it was much more effective because it was so much bigger. With one grapefruit I was able to clean both my bathtub/shower and toilet.

Melissa, Clean My Space has changed the way I clean. I use your DIY cleaner recipes for just about everything in my house. White Vinegar, Dawn, Isopropyl Alcohol and baking soda are my best allies in tackling whatever dirt my family of four can stir up. It's been especially helpful since my daughter has multiple chemical sensitivities. Using the "royal family" of cleaning has cut down on reaction issues tremendously (and saved a ton of $). I just wanted to thank you for doing what you do.

Hi Mellisa, thank you for your lovely content videos. At the end of this video you said you’ve had IBS. My son is 15 years old really struggling with his stomach cramps. We did blood test and sample test but doctors came back saying he is fine. But I can hear he is not fine. He is really crouching and pale spending long time in toilet few times a day. How did you sort your IBS? Did you have to stop eating gluten and diary products? I’m worried sick about him and worse is that doctors saying he is fine. 🤔

thanks for the great videos. i don't put my knives or graters in the dishwasher for fear of dulling the cutting surfaces. i soak my grater in cold water to prevent cheese remnants from melting, then wash in the sink with pots & pans. before grating cheese,i spray the inside and out of the grater with cooking spray, or wipe with cooking oil, which makes cleanup much easier. i have a lemon tree in the backyard, so use them for cleaning a lot. salt + lemon = copper cleaner. sprinkle copper with salt, rub in with cut lemon half.

I enjoy your home made organic cleaning tips. I must share that I love vinegar for many uses. I'll share a tip; do you know when you wash (thoroughly) plastic food containers but you can STILL smell the soap dish, or even taste it on new foods that you have placed in it? I say this because it has happened to me A LOT! And it occurred to me to add vinegar and water to the container(s) after I am done washing it with dish detergent. I have found that the vinegar does cut the scent of the dishwashing liquid, hence not allowing it to stick to other foods that is placed in the containers for storage. Let me know if this works for anyone.

Lemon is a fantastic fruit. I learned from my grandmother who died at 96 still with the most beautiful skin all due to lemon juice in hot water that she drank every single day. She also dabbled some of it on her face, throat, arms and legs; you couldn’t wish for a more beautiful skin quality. The benefits of her drinking her lemon potion must’ve been of great benefit, after all, she lived to be 96!
