Natalie is incredible. I have been fortunate in that I have seen her perform since the 10,000 Maniac in the LA area at the Wiltern Theater, LA Greek Theater, Universal Amphitheater, Cerritos Center for the Performance Arts, The Orpheum, The Yost Theater, The Ford Theater, Royce Hall at UCLA. This was fun remembering. Oh, two more Santa Barbara Theater for the folk song tour and a small place in Little Tokyo in Downtown for the Leave Your Sleep Tour. She was so eloquent, funny, and entertaining as she described the children's poems which were the lyrics for that album. I met her one time, and she drew and signed on the setlist I got from one of the three in a row Cerritos shows I went to. I want to see her 20 more times !

You never know "these are the days" until you get beyond them with perspective and can see it. Most people live their life thinking their life sucks now because they focus on the negative instead of creating something positive. There are no excuses until you're dead. Tomorrow starts another day, so WTH are you going to do with it? Blaming others or bad times doesn't cut it. If you're reading this, you have more going for you than the vast majority of humanity has ever experienced. Make it count.

People back then were saying that the 70s were the days, and in the 70s were saying that about the 50s, and in the 50s, they were saying that about the 30s. Yet I've known people who knew they were going to die tomorrow and still found joy and purpose today. All days are "the days", if that's what you make of them. Happiness is a choice, not something that happens to you.
