That is around 2.25 mph, or faster than my car... My car would lose to a 3d printer in a drag race... that is horrible to think about.

chances are the answer is travels, but a well tuned printer running klipper and a supervolcano, sovol high flow, or k1 hotend can absolutely print that fast if you can keep the print cool. I start running into severe cooling problems around 80mm^3/s with a sovol high flow modified to take k1 nozzles, if this guy is using a typical .4mm nozzle with .2mm layer height then he's sitting right at around the same flow rate. toss some aux fans at it and it'll haul.

Hey guess what?! There are hot ends out there capable of pushing more than 55mm³/s of filament! And at 55mm³/s that printer would be moving at 700 mm/s! There’s no reason why this printer won’t be able to reach 1000mm/s with the right hotend and cooling setup.

@@xiar5546 i know this depends on a plastic type, but what about cooling/adhesion?
