NO. It was people not taking the themes to heart that makes people weak. Children have been taught important themes since movies like The Fox and The Hound, Pinocchio, and everything else. People aren't going to take to heart what doesn't serve their purposes. This "in my day" type of thinking (I watched the cartoons too, mind) means NOTHING because people have always been like this.

@@markmolino679 I noticed people with your mindset will always find something in a show or movie that you consider "woke". Even when it's not there. If these show's never aired until now. They definitely would be considered "woke" because of the themes they cover in some of their episodes. Especially Gargoyle's and X-Men. But because they're established loved classics you're scared to call out anything that's "woke" in the series. Like Terminator 2 and Aliens with the hero being a woman who out lives everyone and kicks a$$. There's a bunch of "woke" moments in those movies. (Mary Sue, belittling of men, men being blamed for everything bad, all men are evil etc.). But because no social media was around to b!tch and moan about PC, woke, feminism back then. It's hard to do that now on the classics. So you just pretend it's not there and follow the sheep herder (KZitemr host) on what to like and what to not like next.

anime differs from cartoon by it's emotion expression, anime action is emotion based, cartoon action is more logic/caricature based , either way cartoon makes you process action and themes using your logical side, where anime makes you feel the action, rather than process it logically, expressions and emotions can be exaggerated, there are more differences but this one is most common.

If you ask me, a Spawn-like animated adaptation of the X-Men should've been created as well and it's horrible than they haven't made such an adaptation yet LOL. By "Spawn-like" I mean a TV series oriented towards a mature audience of course. One where lethal force and bad language were allowed. Where Wolverine was allowed to slice up people and where he could smoke and drink like he does in the comics. The 1990s version was very limited due to it being designed as a kids show. An adult oriented adaptation must be made.
