Probably safer not to have the clamps on if you're lifting by yourself. Keep at it though 💪

it's only 105lbs, it simply cannot crush me. also, i never go to failure, i always keep good steady and controlled form, never go to failure. plus im already using the safety stands

@@kevintheneck thank you for your concern, i dont lift to gamify these numbers, they dont mean much to me. i do it to be healthy (strength is huge pillar of health, but also cardio and full range of motion). i dont have a spotter and honestly i do believe you can train weights in a way that you never really have to test yourself to fatigue (mitigate the risk of failure almost completely) while getting all the gains of weight lifting by doing it carefully. scientifically, you only need 60-80% of your max to grow hypotrophically.
