It's quite impressive to see the 11th gen civic si race it's quite fast for fbo but what helps also is the amount of torque you can get out of the 1.5 turbo engine I'm still debating on trading my 8th gen civic si for the new one I mean my 8th gen is stock with a short ram intake and muffler delete and I went for a drive in the 2023 si and I was quite impressed

Thanks for the comment. I had an 8th gen sedan, but I love the 11th Gen because people underestimate the engine. As you said is a 1.5, but it moves... For those races, I didn't have any E85 in the tank. It was just 91 octane Sams Club pump gas...

I think you said last time you sold the car. But im curious did you do any engine work? Head bolts or piston upgrades? And did you upgrade the clutch?

Same! I did some pulls Vs. a Veloster N Tunned. At that moment, I had Ktuner with Phearable 1.5, PRL Intake stage 1, Downpipe, and front pipe, and the guy got impressed. Also on 91 octane

I don't know yet. Phearable is saying around 270hp 338tq on the E30 blend. On those races, I didn't have any E85. It was just 91 octanes of 10% ethanol, so it is way less than 270

On 93 octane, it’s prob making around 250-255 whp. On 91, around 230-235 estimated whp.

@@PeterM340isorry dumb question but does the octane really make that much of a difference when it comes to power or is it when it’s tuned it’s noticeable difference ?
@PeterM340i

@@elite-2691 yes, octane is the key to making more power when tuned. That’s why many people go to ethanol (e85) to make the most power on their cars.
