Hi Charlotte, love the way you’ve presented the information in this video. I’m not currently vegan, but it is something I’ve wanted to learn more about over the past year. I appreciate you sharing your passion for the cause without judging those who aren’t part of it. Keep it up! 😊

Thank you so much for this great information. I find it easy to give up meat, but not so easy to give up dairy and eggs, even though I know the horrific practices associated with both industries; major cognitive dissonance on my part. I am committed to finally going and STAYING fully vegan in 2021.

Could listen to you talking about this all day! I’m not vegan but eat vegan and vegetarian meals at least 50-70% of my week. My end goal is to be vegan! I’m fully aware it’s the only way to go especially as I love the environment & animals and the thought of what they go through makes me so upset. One step at a time! I’ll try more vegan recipes this month especially and who knows I could be at least veggie by the end of the year! 😁 thank u for the vid

Thank you so much for making this video! I went vegetarian a year and a half ago, and have been vegan for several months now. A common objection I hear is that being vegan is too expensive and only for “privileged” people, which I find so ridiculous since vegetables, legumes, tofu, tempeh, pastas and rice are some of the most inexpensive products to buy AND are completely vegan.

I'm always interested on people's take on this: what do you think of the notion that the voluntary extinction of the human species (as in, everybody just ceases to have kids and we die out) is ultimately the best way to fix the planet and end anthropogenic suffering? The idea tends to cop a lot of flak from vegans who say it's their right to have kids and continue the species as they want but... Isn't that attitude what we're challenging?

Unpopular opinion but I agree. Reproduction is harmful to the environment and there are so many other ways to have a family. Adopt! Foster! Care for your community elders!

Interesting, but I still think vegans are a bit nuts lol. Everything in moderation, yes perhaps less animal products is better, but overall I don’t understand why anyone would WANT to eat fully vegan. You do you , great, but IMO God put animals on this planet to be consumed as we are the top of the food chain 🤷♀️I’ll just never fully understand

That's fine and all if you happen to believe that animals were created specifically to be exploited, but many people don't think that way, a lot of creationists don't even think that way.

There's theological dispute on whether the bible permits animal consumption as its currently done, and as we both know, the bible has been translated over the years and may miss out some of the things god wants us to do or avoid. It seems likely that a benevolent god would reject unnecessary killing of animals. Animal killing for food is unnecessary in most ecological contexts. Let's consider the options! 1. God is okay with animal killing and you do it: Neutral position, no punishment. 2. God is okay with animal killing and you don't do it: Neutral position, no punishment. 3. God is not okay with animal killing and you do it: Punishment, whether this be hell or purgatory depending on your beliefs. 4. God is not okay with animal killing and you do not it: Neutral position, no punishment. If you're a christian who believes there is an infinite afterlife which is either paradise or hell depending on your morality on earth, the most rational position is to avoid eating animals or their products. Eating animals for pleasure only makes sense if you do not believe in a moral reward system after death. It's an entirely hedonistic approach.
