I LOVE your videos. I watch them to relax. I have a serious question about this one. Why did the trailor config need to be THAT long? Or why didn't they hire 2 trucks to split the load to make it shorter? I don't know anything about commercial driving, I'm just curious. Thanks, respectfully. :)

Dude your a hell of a driver. What is the power train set up on that truck. Motor trans and rears.
Impressive reversing that long load! Do you have a bigger air compressor for all those extra air tanks and brakes? I would assume that you would need speedy recovery for excessive braking. I’m going to assume that this load was not that heavy but just bulky by the way you accelerated so quickly from slow starts.

How is the rear dolly steering controlled, walker and remote, or from the prime mover?
@luckybananaheavyhaul3407

It has 2 modes of function. For easy maneuvering it will actually counter steer automatically just using hydraulic pressure. But for more difficult maneuvering it can be overridden by remote control operated by the rear escort following.

These super loads are a nightmare of waiting around for permits so we often use multiple drivers to relay the trip. I did the Ontario portion. I picked up the load at the Manitoba / Ontario border and dropped in near Ottawa. The portion of the route you are probably missing is Hwy 60 through Algonquin Park. We go this way because of the low bridge in Mattawa.
