Our breath is the language of the Nervous System and by just starting our practice with some deep exhales, we sooth our parasympathetic nervous system - also known as the 'rest and digest' system.
We often hold a lot of tension in our hips, without even knowing it. With a graceful approach, we can create space and open up the hips.
And remember one side of the body may feel completely different than the other side!
