This video is for our good friends Ed and Susan Yawn. Folks who have attended our shows in years past will recognize this 1935 Farmall F-20. Ed led many a parade here and at other shows with this tractor and a giant American flag attached to the rear. In recent years it hasn’t worked out for Ed to display the tractor, so he and Susan graciously agreed to donate it to Inman Farm Heritage Days. Ricky Harp and his Civil Site Services Inc. crew hauled the tractor to Inman. Christopher Peeples helped us drag this F20 and another one out Ed's barn. Danial Perkins, in the video, worked with Darryl Coleman, John Walls and others to free a stuck clutch, swap the magneto and clean the carburetor and fuel tank. We got it fired up for the first time today. Our plan is for Ed to be back at the wheel, leading the parade at the Inman Antique Expo on March 1-3. Come see them if you can. It’s always a good day when we can bring an old tractor back to life! Video on the second tractor coming soon.
