Great job AGAIN Louie!! You made the 'Flathead' look good also, as the interior. It even looks like it belongs in a shop window, and that ain't bad. & You're right, "Modeling is for you", (the modeler)! Keep 'em coming my friend.

I like your positive vibe and your models are great. I especially like how you display them on the wall with the boxart.

Very nicely done. You make decal placement look so damn easy. I always tear them. Wish I would have grabbed one of those kits on the cheap when it was on the shelf at Hobby Lobby.

I noticed with the one I bought when I opened it up and was checking all the parts that the floor didn't fit all that well and had one heck of a gap between the fenders. Now I know lol.

Louie, you have another great build here! Its beautiful ! I am well aware that AMT 40 Ford kits have big parting lines on the front fenders. Didn't you have to prime the fenders to "cover" the scratch marks from sanding? My hobby paint brushes are shot, I am due in for a new set. What was the brush you were using to paint the firewall? I could use that fine brush you were using!Lastly, the green paint you used on the motor, didn't it craze the bare plastic? I thought the motor paint was going to be too hot for the bare plastic? I learn things from you in your channel! Hope you had a nice Christmas!

I painted the Tamiya paint right over the plastic. No primer. Before I painted the fenders I wet sanded them with 2000 grit paper. The hobby brushes I use come from Hobby Lobby nothing special. I try and use inexpensive supplies and materials to complete my builds. As for the green engine paint I used it on small parts which don’t have a lot of flat surfaces otherwise it WILL craze the plastic. Thank you for watching!!

@@TheAutisticModeler ok thank you! I've been using inexpensive brushes as well and the brushes don't last long. The paint strokes are poor also, they're not the quality of brushing like you were doing on the firewall in your video but thanks for all the tips

I’m no Ford specialist, but I think with your fully “chromed” grille, you’ve changed it from a Standard to a Deluxe. Nice build. Good luck in the contest.

Great build Louie. The fenders turned out nice. Black is so difficult to paint and yours turned out terrific. How did you fix the small slip up while painting the front window molding? You have a steady hand and to see that was a surprise. Nice!

Yes, lite car wax or polish will remove it easily. Take a look at my more recent video on the red ford truck I show the product I use.
