This is the way my mother fixed the Smithfield hams. We had the ham for Sunday dinner about once per month. Smithfield, Virginia was across the James River from where we lived during the 1950's. Hogs on that side of the river ate a lot of peanuts.
During the 1950's there was no such thing as spiral cut ham or honey baked ham.
The ham in this video was already fully cooked and only had to be warmed at 300 degree for about 90 minutes it weight 9.4 lbs.
Thanks for watching.
