Carona and I are HUGE fans of gassers, and a bullet nose Studie is just too fn kewl! Can't wait to see how you do this one! Awesome job using that loader to get the Studebaker in those tight quarters, I am impressed! Jealous I didn't have a fancy loader for my revivals. "FANCY"! Pablo was thirsty!

Awesome my Neighbor growing up his dad raced a Henry J gassed in the 60s until he flipped it and built a Chevy 2 nova gasser . But as Kids we would play sitting in the old wrecked Henry j gasser and later we used the chevy2 as a field car 327 with hilburn injection. With 3 speed transmission. What fun we had in the late 70s early 80s .

My absolute favorite classic car. A bullet nose Studie ! This is one you don't chop. It is so unique as an original design. It's like an alien spaceship weird - cool. I know you'll do it right as a gasser and have some fun. Then later if you want to make a street car, well anything done can be undone. You taught us that ! Thanks Brent. This is fun. 👍😎🍺🕵🏾♂️🎸🎵👽🥂

Old Studebakers looks like front of an Airplane so high in the sky is the look I like with a nosebleed stance for a gasser. Like the dirt drags and loved the drone footage shot of the yard and old Stude being moved. Something old school would be nice for power like the Buick engine in the old green car would look right at home.

I had one just like it and that motor will still run. Mine sat 43 years and I started it the next day after buying it. I poured hot Sal's Soda into the engine everyway I could and let it sit, The next day I put 30 W none Detergent oil in it, set the points and cranked it over a few times after breaking it loose with a Breaker Bar and using miracle in the Cylinders and cleaning the fuel lines and whole system and I had it running .

These are my son's favorite car. Even though I gave him a 79' 911 Targa. I almost bought a bullet nose convertible in Jacksonville Texas back in 1979. It ran great and just need a new top and some paint work (body was perfect). He was asking $450 for it. He also had a BMW Isetta for $150 OBO. I should have bought them both. Avanti R3 has always been my favorite Studebaker.

Be great to see you make a new frame from some square steel tubing. The existing frame looked crusty around the rear axle too, so patching it enough to handle any amount of torque is going to be tough! By the time you fix both ends, you are not far from the effort of running a couple straight new rails back. You could even run the diff over the rails like some English cars have.
