Air suspension was a total game changer in the luxury market, and is possibly what put Cadillac head and shoulders above the rest for so many years. The others were amazing in their own way, but none of them could not beat that Cadillac boulevard ride.

These vintage commercials are outstanding. I loved the old days back then and how it was like. Loves the vibes and how it had no color back then because it just gives so much detail and convince people it’s actually really old. I recommended an antique store if you guys love vintage items

There is a corporate resemblance, but the quality of the materials and ride is night and day difference. As it should be. The cheapest cadillac cost twice as much.

@@willieoutlaw4957 Chevy did NOT "get" it's styling FROM Cadillac. BOTH got their styling from the same people: They are different brands of the SAME company. Plus The 58 Chevy could not have "derived" the 58 Caddy "look" FROM the 58 Caddy, Both cars came out at the SAME TIME. The two cars share NO body, Chassis or drive train components. Perhaps the lock cylinders and some bolts and screws were used corporate wide. But the two are COMPLETLY DIFFERENT cars.

The sharpest looking car GM had in 58'was the Olds 98 or Pontiac Bonneville. The 58'Caddy was horrible compared to GM's middle cars in looks and styling.

I grew up with Cadillacs of the 1950s. The 1958, in my opinion, was the ugliest (as were all the '58 GM cars ... with the exception of the Chevy. the worst of the bunch was the 1958 Olds ... ). The 1957, in the second commercial, was beautiful (as were nearly all of them ... until the mid-1960s).

`57 was a prettier Cadillac IMHO. The `58's were so hopelessly overdone.
