Back then, convertibles were usually bought without air conditioning.

You absolutely nailed it with that floormat. It reminds me of all my grandfather's 60s impalas. Another gorgeous car John, I don't know how you do it, but I am glad you do!

My father had a black one, thank you for showing it. It's hard to believe it was 60 years ago.

I had one back in Mi. Put a gallon of bondo on it, I replaced the top with a JC Whitney kit. Painted it Red and had two wide black stripes on both deck lids. I was 17 years old in 1970. It was a neat car

John: Another beauty - I don't know how you do it! That interior is unbelievable for a car with over 100k miles. What did the last owner do, drive it while standing up? Someone's going to get a great Christmas gift.

Where do you manage to get ahold of these one of a kind classics? This is so awesome! One thing I would do tho is install and update the brake system to a dual chamber.

In 1963 model year vehicles, Cadillac, American Motors, and Studebaker had dual chamber brakes from the factory.

PNDSLR quadrant. Does it still have the original Roto-5 Slim Jim? If so, it's a rare bird and a unique snapshot of Oldsmobile history.
