really like the layout of this boat...I like the ideal of keeping some floor space too.

Thats a pretty cool project!! i put a deck on my 14' all welded jon boat flush with and between the middle bench and front bow bench. i used 3/4" plywood with 3 2x4's underneath for support each secured 3/4 of an inch down so the deck would be flush. i realized i didn't need that much support and just wanted to let you know for future projects. cause it saves weight, money, space, and time! And that's some impressive craftsmanship at the front there!!

Awesome build. Looks real heavy though, I put a casting deck on my V hull and even with as simple as I made it, it still adds a good bit of weight

how stable is it on the decks, also you should carpet everything, paint the boat, and put storage hatches up in the front. amazing boat!

How did you put up the sides at the front of the bow that you used 2x2? Did you drill through the side or use like a liquid nails of some sort?

is that treated wood you used? guy down below is right less you use the better for weight wise and saves you some $$$$
