You know what is funny about a commercial like this? Everyone, including the kids, are nicely dressed! Most people today lounge around the house barefoot in t-shirts and shorts. And no dad is seen because back in the day, he was the one who worked while the mom stayed at home. I miss those times.

As a child I thought that kitchen table was fun, now it looks small and uncomfortable.

True. I wonder if kitchens even have tables like that anymore. That's more or less a place you'd sit at your local Applebee's.

You might notice at the end of this ad that the Candy Land box features the old 1970s gray bar Milton Bradley design. This would be changed at the last minute and thus the 1978 edition debuted the brand new MB Key logo in a prototype form (minus the usual Key to Fun subheading that would accompany it in the early 80s).

I think this commercial played for well over ten years, just like that old Tootsie Pop commerical. Still a classic. By the way, do any homes today have restaurant booths in their kitchens anymore?
