Me and 3 friends were at this game. I remember going to the restroom after the game, and Verne Lundquist doing the pre-game over the in-stadium KRLD feed. Verne was mentioning how the Cowboys should have won the game by a bigger margin based on the lop-sided statistical margin they had over the Redskins.
@denniseverett1904

the game was more lopsided than the final score. I remember this game as a 10 year old and remember thinking(not knowing I was right)that the Redskins were a year or two away from being an elite team

Any chance we could see the season opener Monday night football game of 1983 ? It was one of the great Cowboy come backs of all time. Danny White threw 3 TDs in the second half and ran one in himself for the victory.

Joe Washington was a critical ingredient to the ability of the Redskin offense to move the football. So when he was sidelined with a rib injury, the Redskins were shutout for the rest of the game.

Yes. The Redskins hadnt yet realized their identity was Riggins first, Joe Washington second.

At 1:04:30 wtf type of rule was that? Catching the ball even though you lose control if you got both feet on the ground that's a catch? Really even back then we didn't know wtf a catch was.
