Nice work on the Suzuki, just a suggestion but on a lengthy project like this consider preparing adequate work space so you don’t have to prematurely wear out your back and knees working on the damn ground…..the 50 year old you will appreciate it-

You never got it put back together? How come you don't show it at the end and instead show a pre-paint bike?

Good job. I just picked up a beat up Fa50, it runs decently I just need to repair the cosmetics. How fast does yours go? Mine tops out at 20mph. Im hoping it could hit 30mph

Much respect putting that back together. So often we take things apart and then get lost in the reassembly. How many days did this take?

Sweet FA50! I’ve got two of them and live in the Mukilteo area. If you know some other people with them we should get a meet going haha

That would be awesome. Know any good spots to go? We have a QT50 that needs some restoration, but that does sound like a blast

My rear tire kinda wobbles when it's on kick stand. Is that normal? Lol
@mikehawke1

Similar to mine, the rear tire just need to be “trued” basically some spokes may be loose and need to be tightened, the rim may be slightly out of alignment also. Local shop should be able to sort that out no problem 😊

Also was wondering if you knew where to get any wheels locally although wheels and tubes I found online seem pretty spendy is that standard price though? About 100 bucks? They are odd size I'm noticing lol

Your doing it all wrong! It needs to be sand blasted, then it should be powder coated.
