Dale Earnhardt drove a very unusual car (for him anyway) owned by the tandem of Buddy Baker and Danny Schiff. True to form he nearly takes out 5 cars on a bump and run late in the event.

He Bought a car from them at Daytona after violent crash in practice, and this was his way to pay them back, by driving their car later in the year.

38:32 Those driver's are hauling ass back then. In a naturally aspirated V-6. Over 160 MPH you hit the wall head on, that's going to be a bad mess. Robby Moroso got one of his Daddy's engine's and a Jericho four speed transmission. Went out joyriding drunk late in 1990 and killed himself. I bet they the clean up crew used trash bag's to pick up some of the body parts.
