Thanks Ken! You do great work. I watch these old games (from my youth) mostly based on the announcers. Any game by these guys is worth watching because the color guys have been there and done that, and convey their expertise well. In no particular order... Lundquist and Fouts Enberg and Walsh Summerall and Madden Michaels, Gifford, Dierdorf Stockton and Olsen

Jeez, that Minnesota roster was loaded with talent. Offense - Rich Gannon (2002 NFL MVP) Herschel Walker (Heisman Trophy) Chris Carter (HOF) Anthony Carter (3 Pro Bowls) Defense - Chris Doleman (HOF) John Randle (HOF) Henry Thomas (2 Pro Bowls, 1 All Pro) Joey Browner (6 Pro Bowls, 4 All Pro)

You also forgot Mike Merriweather (3 Pro Bowls) and Keith Millard ( 2 Pro Bowls and DPOY in 1989) And Terry Allen the RB gets drafted the following season. They just couldn't put all the young and older players together to form a cohesive team. Imagine if Gannon, Cris Carter, and John Randle were in their prime in 1990. They are clearly the best team in the NFL.

Ken, thank you for the upload) I am sure that everyone wants to see LT vs Anthony Munoz, so if you have some Giants vs Bengals games, upload it please. They met probably three times during that 80s period) Certainly, that game will cause some additional interest for your channel😉

@@abifan1021 Yeah, in the 80s, the NFC East (Giants) would play the AFC Central (Bengals) every three years, but the 5th place team from the year before didn't join in. The 5th place teams each year had their own scheduling rules, and the Giants finished 5th in '87, so they missed their rotational game vs Cincinnati in '88. In '82, the game was cancelled by the strike. Their last game in LT's career was in '91, but I believe he missed that one due to injury.

@2:48:16…..I sure would like know what Parcells was angry about. It looked like he was calling for a particular player to come over to the sideline, then he yells at Romeo Crennel. Defense pressures Gannon into an interception, Parcells is STILL angry despite the defense coming up aces.

Looking back at the 1990 Vikings they were one of the most talented teams in the game. At least on a level that can match the Giants. Difference being that the 1990 Giants were BY FAR the best coached team and they had very good upper management. The absolute opposite of the Vikings. If you gave the Vikings Bill Parcells, Bill Belichick (DC), Romeo Crennel (d-line), Ron Erhardt (OC), that 1990 Vikings squad would be at worst 11-5. Rich Gannon (4x Pro Bowler) (2002 NFL MVP) Cris Carter (8x Pro Bowler) (HOF) Anthony Carter (3x Pro Bowler) Randall McDaniel (12x Pro Bowler) (HOF) Steve Jordan (6x Pro Bowler) Herschel Walker (2x Pro Bowler) Henry Thomas (2x Pro Bowler) Chris Doleman (8x Pro Bowler) (HOF) John Randle (7x Pro Bowler) (HOF) Joey Browner (6x Pro Bowler) (should be in HOF) Keith Millard (2x Pro Bowler) Carl Lee (3x Pro Bowler) Scott Studwell (2x Pro Bowler) Really unacceptable to finish 6-10. That team was crazy loaded. The 85-91 Vikings team of players are still my all time favorite squad. I wish they won it all in 87. Still hurts.

I remember the NYC tabloids ripping the Giants for a "weak" win here and very concerned their season was going to collapse. I believe the Vikings came into this game with a 6 game winning streak and that included handing the Bears (10-2) their worst lost of the season. This was a good Vikings team and a huge Giants win especially coming off 2 consecutive losses.
@kevinburke6055

They had only lost 7 3 to the best team in league at their place. Holding one of the best Os ever to 7 points is hardly something to be concerned about. Typical NY press BS.
