Roll your windows down, close the doors and then roll them back up. Let it sit that way and see if it forms to the window better. If not, you can adjust the window to the weatherstripping.

Windows won't roll all the way up. Rear roof weather strip is too stiff.

Instead if trimming it why not just roll the window down a bit then shut it to seal it??? But thanx your skills are now mine. Much appreciated.

Hey man! Good to have you back. Is the car still running to your liking after all the work you've done?

Found out the new EGR valve leaked (smoke test) so i just took it off. It is running better than ever but I'm sure it's still no where near a low mile garage queen. I really want to do the bushings but I've got a laundry list of home repairs to do.

I hear you man... I guess it's the same for a lot of us guys. Bushings.... a labor of love. Not so much complicated but just long and ... well you get the idea. But you will love your car again with new bushings all around. Make sure you get her properly aligned after. The rear can be done with a vice and/or a ball joint press (C clamp). The front is a little fancier cause you have to support the arm while you press out the bush. Is your diff holding up? Did you manage to solve the fitment issue of the top weatherstip with the window? Hang in there and stay in touch.

@@hasbeengood Yeah i do have a home made alignment tool. My friend that helped me do the injector test gave it to me. The diff seems to be holding up fine. During my short drive to work and back i've memorized where it down shifts and knocks so i go easy on it at those points. The weather strips are doing ok. I just have to shut the doors just right. i guess thats just what i have to deal with.

I just drove my car probably for the last time this year. Snowing now... I have to kick myself in the butt to have a look at the clutch during winter. Bearing is noisy and there is a shim to install on the counter shaft of the trans. Since I have to take off the exhaust, I was thinking of having an X pipe done to replace the resonator. We'll see... depends on how much drive I have.

@@slythee1 BTW, for the weatherstrip... try putting it the way you want it to sit and gently go at it with the heat gun. Have a bucket of cold water and a rag to cool it off quickly and have it harden fast . Should take the shape. Key word is gently... be patient.

The only problem I have with this video is he doesn't show how to use the adhesive.

He doesnt show how fun it is to clean out those gooped up channels either. Probably figured we didn't wanna see the monotony?
