This looks so delicious. As someone who has recently started eating metric tons of tofu, I love seeing a recipe that isn't trying to make the tofu into imitation meat.

Ive tried this and it’s REALLY GOOD. Without me saying anything my husband’s like “I like how it’s not using tofu as a meat substitute but it really celebrates tofu as tofu” Watching this I was like “spot on!” Thank you for this recipe!!!

I often cook tofu the same way over and over, so it's delightful to find new preparations that don't lean into the "how to make tofu taste like x" craze!

Delicious! Thank you for highlighting Tofu this way and the statement of "meat alternative" is so spot on. I was a vegetarian for 7 years and even though I eat meat, I regularly eat Tofu because I enjoy it as a protein. Its wonderfully versatile and flavorful. More people would enjoy it if they got out of the "It tastes like chicken" mentality.

Just in time to rescue my uninspired tofu recipe-cubed in soup. I tried the baked with peanut sauce. Very good with red peppers on the side. I look forward to the tofu with blistered snap peas. That’s something I don’t say often-look forward to tofu. Thanks for the techniques. Lynne

I'm very happy to hear you say that tofu is tofu. For so long I heard - it tastes like chicken (maybe kidding a bit), but never as a stand alone flavor. Just a vehicle for the sauce. I've always loved the taste and texture or it. Thanks for the lovely recipes you presented.

I have never cooked tofu before, I tried it a few times but I was quite young and not impressed to say the least. Currently trying veganism as a social experiment and monthly experience, should I give tofu a try? I'm very open-minded when it comes to food and I love Asian cuisine, but if something doesn't work for me at certain time, it will never work for me (cilantro is horrible people!!!!). Should I give tofu an honest try, seeing as organic produce is so expensive in London ?
