I am so pleased to see you back. Simply a joy to watch, thank you! I wanted to make a comment about the Ansell HyFlex gloves. I bought a pair to do the front brakes on a 1968 Rover P5B. All went well but these gloves are not oil proof and certainly not brake and clutch cleaner proof. I tend to get dermatitis from brake fluid and realised I needed a pair of cheap nitrile gloves underneath to avoid contact dermatitis. It might be worth warning of this this and feeding back to Ansell. Otherwise they are very good. Certainly as a protective barrier aginst cuts and grazes they are brilliant. Also just a quick comment about spinning the oil pump on the rover V8 to prime it using an electric drill. I am a bit of a fan of the technique recommended in the Rover P5 workshop manual which is to fill the oil pump with petroleum jelly prior to start up. I do know that the oil pump on the Rover V8 has had several improvements since 1968 and it maybe that spinning with an electric drill is better on the later V8s but I thought the information might be useful. All the best!

Edd, regarding sub titles, an App like Simon Says (others are available) will automatically transcribe the audio in the video, and you can then download time coded subbies in pretty much any language you need, it makes adding subbies so easy, I use it frequently in my proper job of video editing, when not spannering my MCS.

Nice work Edd, I enjoyed this episode very much. Especially as this week I’ve done this exact same bush replacement on my 2004 Mini Cooper S. To remove the lower suspension arms from the bushes I used a vice and a large pry bar, then to get the old bushes out of the carrier I bought a tool from eBay for £28, the knackered bushes slid out with no effort and the new poly replacements slid in using the same tool in reverse. I’m staying with factory suspension for the moment but looking forward to seeing the fitting of those lovely Ohlins to see what I might need to look out for if I decide to go the adjustable coil over route.

Hey Edd, just curious as to why you never use one of Milwaukee's electric ratchets. They are fantastic and really speed up the process of doing up, say, a nylock nut on a stud with lots of extra threads. I'm loving the show. The camera work and lighting makes it really easy to see what you are doing! Keep it up!
