Audi, VW and probably Skoda and Seat with 2.0T engines have 2 oil switches. Which one goes where and what are their parameters ?
In this video they are mounted on 2011 Audi A5 2.0T engine CAEB, which you could find in other Audis of A series, Q series as well and many more models, plus in VW cars with for example 1.4 and 2.5 units.
The blue one is prone to fail, it is rated for higher pressure. It is located left from the bell tensioner.
The brown one is rated to lower pressure. It is located just underneath the oil filter housing.
You can't swap these 2 out, each serves its own purpose.
This video is about why, what, when and how I did something. It is not a guide nor training, I'm not a professional. If you follow any of it, I take no responsibility.
