Thank you. I enjoyed your humor & some of the key things other videos didn’t mention.

Hello, this function can also be achieved by some devices. I recommend the Phoenix Remote from Topdon to you. I am also using it, and I think it is very good. The functions and covered models are very complete. Here is a video of me using this device to replace brake pads for Audi A5: kzitem.info/news/bejne/qHqEnZmrgmhhp6g , you can refer to it, maybe it will help you!

In the jack kit bag there should be a tool to remove the center caps. It goes in the hole in the center cap. Internet search Audi center cap removal tool. Or you can try to use a 90 degree pick tool.

You didn’t show how the POWERBUILT tool works with that caliper, since there’s a hole in the middle of it.

That hole in the center cap is to pull it out.

Yes, if you happen to have a tool that can fit in there. But thanks for the comment, I don't think I realized it at the time I made the video.

Where did you put the jack to raise the car? Under the control arm bushing?

Great video 👍. 1 question... this video works for audi a8? Thx

I wouldn't expect it to be much different, but I have no experience with the A8 so I can't say for sure.

Is there a front pad wear sensor on both left and right, or just driver side?
@OakHollowGarage

Only one side has the sensor.

Does the electronic parking break need the to deactivate before hand? Need a scan computer?

Only when doing the rear breaks. I haven't done the rear brakes yet. Will certainly do a video if/ when I do them though.

yes when doing the rear you need to use an ODB ( I used a carista) to release the emergency brake and then reengage it when done. Do not force them open it will damage the system regardless of what other people say.
