Well, Paceman actually had it's launch after the 500L. For the roofline, it actually comes directly from the 2003 Fiat Panda (and its 2011 following generation): this was conceived originally as a maxi Panda, so it was styled consequently. Later on, our management decided to bring it to US too, but since 500 was a more appealing name for NA market (basically almost a brand), they switched the name to 500L, and changed the front end. The rest (interiors too) is basically a Panda styled car

I once used to be the proud driver of Fiat Uno. It was both good and bad, it'd drive you nuts but at the same time you loved it. This thing here is a heck of a lot more stylish, maybe even too stylish, but I have a feeling I'll be frequentingt the showroom nevertheless.

Nikola, I know where Serbia is, but thanks for the geography lesson. I have many Serb friends. I'm sure in Serbia the labour rates are much less than Italy. Anyway, nice car.

Seinsmeld, It's okay I just wanted to be more precise. You have the right when you talk about salaries. As for the factory FIAT specifically it is an average of 400e (euro), those people who work in car assembly. What is much less than the salary of Fiat's factories in other countries such as Italy, Poland and so on. But it was one of the reasons why FIAT invest in Serbia.

The "L" stands for "lungo", Italian for long. Or, since we are in the States, it can stand, if you wish, for "large"; larger/longer than its cousin, the shorter/smaller 500!

The way they ripped off the Mini Paceman's tailights and Countrymans rear roofline is crazy...they're almost identical.

Zach, did you shit the bed? Two videos I get from you in one day. Anyway, this will sell very well here in Canada. The interior looks great. Nice job FIat. I trust this thing is made in Europe as it arrives in Baltimore. I suspect not made in Italy at that price,. We're is this made Zack?

It's funny, clearly you parked the car in both Annapolis and Baltimore. "Here, we're in Baltimore" with the United States Naval Academy in the background. Then you shift between scenes that are Baltimore and Annapolis... Just saying...

They really need to offer an EV version, the little 500 needed 4 doors for families Here it is. A diesel would be nice. Over 50 mpg. The last days with these is quality is sketchy, reliability is disappointing, and biggest issue.. the crash tests. Poor. That was the deal breaker, even though a $14k price is doable onna new Manual one. Went with a 15 Scion XB. It’ll outlive this 4 fold.
