I just thought I'd let you know that I'm going to redo this video from scratch as I still have the original footage. Once it has been uploaded. I'll post the link. I'll be keeping this video up as well.

i think you might be a bit carefully. it's raining and you are refilling oil (with oil plug open), the whole engine open and drained oil to the engine.

You need to learn to take your time, that way silly things like dripping oil everywhere and dropping spark plugs won't happen, also using the engine block as a resting place for tools and parts is an accident waiting to happen

This was quite some time ago. Things have moved on and I hope I've improved since then. Why do people have to criticize an old video? As Doc Brown would so often say to Marty: You're not thinking four dimensionally.
@Trev350

@@Parknestpeople are critical because when someone's posting a tutoring video, they expect to see the job done properly. Not to have to view someone dropping plugs, spilling oil, making a mess etc. those who claim to teach others will be judged accordingly. That's how life is.

Great video I was looking for something like this. To make it easier to find and get.more views I would add that it's a vauxhall astra J or k and also I would change your thumbnail picture to a picture of the astra so people see the model, as I went past this a few time as I thought it was the old.model astra. Keep it up

Thanks for your comment. I haven't got the hang of thumbnails yet (I just let YT do it automatically) but I've amended the title so that potential viewers know. I know the Astra K came out not long after this car was built.
