From Lauren: The Tuscany jacket lives up to the hype. Most days I am comfortable wearing one base layer, but if it is really cold outside I'll add a thicker mid-layer. The Tuscany has eased shoulder, waist, and hem measurements so there is no need to size up to leave space for layers. I am about 5’5” and 135 pounds and the size 6 fits me, either over a thin layer or a couple thicker layers. I love how easy it is to snap the powder skirt against the jacket when it’s a warm day or when I’m wearing the jacket around town. Snapping the skirt away makes it lays flat so it doesn’t create a bulge around my waist. After a couple hot laps through the trees or bumps, I did find myself wishing the jacket had vents to dump extra heat. So, if you tend to run hot while you ski, you might want to consider an Obermeyer jacket that has Control Zone Ventilation, like the Vivid jacket or the Cosima Down jacket."
