It's 1.5 times the price of ford Everest but produces the same amount of torque and only 1.25 times the horse power of the Everest. In India , Everest is sold as endeavour.

aventador gallardo -the Everest is basically in America the same as our new ranger. The ranger (or Everest in your country) and land cruiser isn’t even close. 1. Engineering better 2. Quality better 3. Just everything better. My wife bought her ford brand new in 2006 (it was her first car) she flat told me it will be our last ford. It’s been a major disappointment. If it can break, fail or go out it has. She said once she sells that ford she will never set foot in a ford shop again.

I've always been a fan of Land Cruiser. Up until now. They missed one of the most important marvels in engineering. The wheel. The idiots reduced the size of the tires to 18"!!! Physics tells that the bigger the wheels, the lesser is the friction on the surface the wheels are in contact with. The Iconic off-road vehicle has been reduced to a sizzy machine meant to be used by housewives in picking up groceries and kids from schools.

Toyotajeff- did you hear in about 2022 land cruiser will end in America? 1. Your thoughts? 2. Do you believe there will be a replacement? It will be 71 year old in 2022. As you know selling cars 71 years on a single model I call that a legacy model. I was saving for a new land cruiser but now they odds of them discontinuing it I don’t think so. 😞.

At least for me, unfortunately, just somewhat over-priced. However, I still think it's a great vehicle. My price range and needs go to the Toyota 4Runner, another great vehicle. What I appreciate about Toyota is the attention to small details and quality control. That is why so many people turned away from the big three.

Toyota Landcruiser has reputation of been the "King of the Road" outback Australia. With exceptional off road capabilities and it take you and the family anywhere wanted equipped with either 7 or 8 seaters and huge fuel tanks. It's rock solid built which can last over 25 plus years and a high demand for after sale. It will not let you down or break down middle of no where. It have the best approach angles while it may not be best looking and practicality. Toyota Landcruiser make up in bulletproof capabilities in all terrains and legendary reliability, but the trade off is gas guzzler and not to be driven in city. The engine available in Australia: 4.6L V8 petrol engine or 4.5L V8 Twin turbo diesel with 6-speed automatic transmission and fuel cap on left hand side.

Did Toyota protect the rear wheel well that usually rust by the section where the rear passenger door is? My opinion, when manufacturers protect that area with plastic or non ferrous material that resist road salts from penetrating causing rust. I drive a an 02 Sequoia with 170k miles and she still has the day one power but Toyota didn't protect that rear wheel well area which is rusting away. I've since coated my with heavy grease which stopped the increase of rust metal breakdown. I'm looking to buy a Toyota Landcruiser just before I retire, that way I will have a vehicle where i wont have to worry about reliability ...Toyota is the King when it comes to reliability ...though I need my SUV protected from rusting in the area I've described above...
