I love my 2010. An extremely reliable, safe, comfortable Tank ! Makes long trips with the whole family and cargo a breeze.

@@Shane23Armada She lives in another state. Gas is really cheap there. So she never complained about fueling cost. It's got only 100k miles on it, she doesn't drive much. It's V8 AWD SUV. I guess mpg is not gonna be much different than your Armada. They're designed to do heavy towing, off road, or blizzard winter.

It sounds like a basic vehicle, older technology. And being a Toyota, if it can be driven in a cost-effective manner, will last a long time. And when selling, it has some worth. Thanks.

Not everything that's new is good, and not everything that's old is bad. Wish more new cars on the market today subscribed to the KISS principle like the Sequoia does.

Old school definitely has some advantages. I have a 5.7 V8 SUV too. But mine is a ‘96 Suburban, which I bought new 23 years ago. It has rear wheel drive and cloth seats for much better reliability and wear, the spare tire is inside (unlike new ones) to stay clean and allow for bigger 42 gallon gas tank. Even the paint still looks much better than I see on much newer models.

Steve Printy yea but this does 0-60 in about a third of the time, rides much better than your suburban, plus the reliability.

I have a 2018 Sequoia Limited 4x4 and average around 14-15 city and 16-17 highway. My brother just bought a 2023 Sequoia for his family and his mpg is not much better. I told him to buy a 2nd gen used but wanted to spend $75,000 and get barely better mpg. Toyota really screwed up the new Sequoia and the new Tundra.
