Trust me, you're going to love your 5 year techo. I got mine last year, as 2020 was supposed to be a memorable year (and it was, just not for the reason I thought). I absolutely love it. And it's more fun the second year because you can now begin to look back. The hardest thing for me is to shorten my day's entry to make it fit. But then again, that's what my regular journal is for.

Thanks so much for sharing that! I’m super excited to start the 5 year - and agree, the second year is going to be awesome reading through the past entries 🥰

I also got the 365 days weeks planner, and it's also my first time using a weeks book so I'm really excited! I agree, knowing the backstory behind the design makes it that much more meaningful :)

@@FromCarola Thank you! 🙈I'm not sure yet, but I was thinking of using it for maybe work and traveling? I know I will be using my hobonichi original for everyday use :), but who knows I might use them both! 😄

I first used Galen Leather notebooks for its Tomoe River paper, then tried the Nanami notebooks, then Midori, Stalogy and Wonderland222 and I think nothing competes against Galen Leather. Then Nanami is as good but faster shipping. Then Wonderland222 also great, wish blank papers but coming soon as well as covers and fast ship and customer service. I haven't tried Hobonichi because I prefer blank paper and I'm still using those notebooks I mentioned. I like your style, calm clear voice, realistic purchases and honest daily usage of your stationary. I went crazy spending 3 years ago and now my love for fountain pens, inks, paper needs me to use them so I'm focusing on planners, journals, etc without going nuts again. Thank you for sharing⭐️❤️🤍🧡

Thanks so much for sharing your own experience with stationery! I’ve been wanting to try Galen Leather notebooks and will most likely cave and pick up a few in 2022 😉 also Nanami and Wonderland222 has me curious… I’ve tried and like Midori and Stalogy as well. I have a couple of the Super Lightweight Paper refill books from the Travelers Company (bsides) which is really interesting to experiment with and probably warrants a whole other video in the future 😊 Thanks for watching and your thoughts on this!

Watched to the end and subscribed. For 2022 I have ordered Weeks Mega and A6 Planner English version as opposed to my current Weeks, A6 Techo Original, A5 Cousin and Avec April/Spring starts for 2021. Blessings❣️

That sounds like a great lineup! I love the A6 English Techo - I hope you enjoy it! The Weeks Mega is what I’ll get next year if I use up all the pages in my regular Weeks. Do you have a specific use in mind for each planner?

@@FromCarola The Weeks is my on the go planner that I carry to work/school. I currently use my 2021 A6 Original as a journal and bible study companion. I currently use an A5 Cousin as my main home planner and an A5 Avec in a Hobonichi Liberty Fabric zip cover as my work planner. I haven’t ordered anything A5 for 2022. Still contemplating.

What does that Library weeks feel like? I saw that it was a silken cotton fabric (???) and I wasn’t sure how it’d hold up without a plastic cover. Also, I’m so jealous of your haul 😂🙈 Can’t wait for my order to arrive!
@FromCarola

Haha oddly enough, “silken cotton fabric” is exactly what it feels like… almost like a nice handkerchief. I’m torn between wanting to protect the material with a cover on cover and wanting to stroke the cover 😆 it’s not as hard if a cover as I was expecting. Aw I’m excited for you to get your order! What are you most looking forward to using?

@@FromCarola Well, I placed an order for this Weeks after reading this comment, haha, so I'm excited for that! I mostly got my standard stuffs from Hobonichi, but this year I splurged for 2 drawer pouches, so I'm mostly excited for that. I think they'll be more efficient (and beautiful) than the bags in bags system I use now.

Loved your video - oh how I wish I had known the story of the weeks book with the calendars on it!!!!!!! I would have bought that one for sure instead of the one I did buy!! My nephew is special needs and he would have been tickled pink about that story. I also love to support and encourage anything that recognizes the efforts of people who overcome challenges. I love Hobonichi even more now!!

Aw thanks for sharing your personal connection to the backstory of this Weeks. It’s nice to get the story out there and I agree - I love that Hobonichi chose to include this design. I can’t wait to use it to note my twins’ milestones in it 💕

Are you in the US? did you have to pay custom fees for your hobonichi Techo products?
@FromCarola

I’m in Canada and I paid about $22 USD for custom fees after shipping, which was fine by me. It does depend on where you ship to and weight of the content.
