the reason for me is i’ve played bo3 for years never quit but i play zombies, all on playstation. I always saw your emblem that looked written out your name in communities on the game if i went to the right side and when i got recommended your vids from the algorithm of “bo3 in 2023” i just stuck around because i already knew who you were from the game but it all came full circle. I as well as many others are just passionate about being nerds in anything and i specifically love speedruns with good movement. Bo3 is the closest thing to a shooter with skill based movement, it’s literally embraced by the devs and you are a master of the art 💕

never quit bo3 man you should do what you enjoy if you like bo3 keep playing it 💕 don’t convince yourself you’ve done all you can do, there’s always going to be new people who join in later on i’ve seen it happen countless times in communities and people leave or come back and the games just progressed so much more. I see this game being preserved until the end of time DESPITE activision being cunts there’s always gonna be underground communities

What I do love about the BO3 moment is the fact that all this is baked into the game and not some exploit. Issues I had with MW2019 and MW3 “movement” is literally the lack of animation blending there is no frame going into a slide. Omnimovement looks far better though

The fact that this looks smooth/designed is just a coincidence tbh, I can garuntee none of this stuff especially later in the video was intended, which would make this stuff an exploit by definition too. I don’t think that’s a bad thing though

Dear Laszered, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible effort and time you dedicated to explaining movement and learning mechanics in Call of Duty Black Ops 3. Your detailed and insightful guidance has been immensely valuable to me. The way you broke down the nuances of the game's advanced movement techniques, including wall running, wall bouncing, yy sliding, edge sliding, keeping momentum, and other various strategic movement techniques was both thorough and enlightening. Your explanations not only clarified these complex aspects but also provided practical strategies that I could immediately apply to enhance my gameplay. I truly appreciate how you patiently addressed these techniques and provided clear, actionable advice. Your ability to simplify these intricate elements and make them accessible has greatly improved my skills and overall enjoyment of the game. I now feel much more confident navigating the fast-paced environments and executing maneuvers with precision, all thanks to your expert guidance. Your generosity in sharing your knowledge has made a significant difference in my gaming experience, and for that, I am genuinely grateful. Thank you once again for your exceptional support. Thank you so much, Laszered, for the incredible 35-minute movement tutorial video. Your detailed explanations and clear demonstrations have really helped me understand the mechanics better and improve my gameplay. The way you compared different games was particularly insightful, especially when you pointed out how Titanfall's movement system falls short compared to Black Ops 3. It really highlighted how fluid and responsive BO3's mechanics are, and why it's such a standout game. The effort and time you put into creating this tutorial are greatly appreciated, and it's evident that you're passionate about helping others level up their skills. hey laszer, i just wanted to ask if all of the movement tricks would be possible on kbm
@Laszered
27 күн бұрын
Yes, but not to the same degree. It’s important to see left stick input as keys pressed. So a 45 degree diagonal would be w and either a or d. If you can visualize that you can translate anything to work somewhat on kbm. Sadly, there is limits though. You aren’t able to make fine angles with 4 keys, so you will be limited with optimal strafing tech and lose out on speed. I highly recommend learning to play hybrid (analogue stick and mouse) since all the best players used that to get the best of both worlds. Hope all that helps

I think I saw you comment once that you had pretty much exhausted the mp maps for clips and i was wondering if you had tried the campaign for any cool spots, then I looked up speedruns and they all look sooo slow compared to you lol. There also seems to be a way to glitch the charge ability in it, which allows you to fly and get ridiculous momentum. I reckon you could easily beat world record for it if you wanted to and a speedrun with these tricks in it the whole way through would be sick to watch
@Laszered
15 күн бұрын
The current WR holder is actually a good friend of mine, and have been working on routing for a few months now on the speedrun, and I personally wouldn’t run it myself as MP movement does not have a ton of uses because of those campaign speed exploits taking over most of the time

i don't think this movement in a new game would upset the community, the issue is they choose to make these "grounded modern/cold war era" games and then they allow for insane movement. they need to pick a direction and stick with it. that's why this game was awesome. they went all out on the futuristic movement scheme
@Laszered
21 күн бұрын
Unfortunately that direction seems to be ground cod. As much as it’s keeping true, that formula is just so blown out by now. It’s the same 3 lane maps with the same 10 gunfights and everyone can shoot straight because the movement is so slow and they only have to aim on one axis.

@@Laszered but yeah you're right in every point they are really hard and need a focused timing to pull them off, by the way i was playing with my friend on controller 😂 he was beating my ass in game like playing with a bot or less then i tried to pull a slide jump in panic way when suddenly my character just dashed in long speedy way, i don't know how i did it but if you know can you explain it for me?
