Thank you Sir!, I’ve been waiting for some videos on a good slip on for this new 390 duke. Sounds great, send a short out on what it sounds like with any baffles out. FYI the quickshifter is pretty cool, flawless and great for that 1st-3rd when you’re leaving from a stop. Also great because you have to shift a bit more then say a 990 duke.

I will get a short up maybe tomorrow without baffles for ya. I just hit the 600 mile service this evening so I will be heading to the dealer to unlock the quick shift this week. I’m really surprised how fun this little bike is

@@Bama_390 yep, really fun, I’m 58 come from a long line of 1000cc naked bikes. Latest one a used 2007 ktm 990 super duke. But repair troubleshooting and bills were frustrating, so I needed something with a low cost of ownership. Man this bike can rail the backroads and twisties. Just as advertised, alittle light and small for the freeway, but plenty of power to ride at 65-85mph. Would like to get that new 990 down the line but this 390 delivers very unique punch. And all the aftermarket parts are cheaper than the larger bikes. Next service 6000 miles, crazy! Plus 54mpg.

Yo man, i ordered de same exhaust from eBay and i returned it because they sent me the 2021 model so now i have to wait like a week and im so hyped. I didnt expect such a good sound🥰 can you tell me if its whit the db killer on?

Btw i recomend you to put the handlebar side mirrors, i dont see a shit on them but it looks crazy. I have another question for you, mines consume a little bit of oil, it has less than 6000km wich is less than 4000miles on it, and i had to refill like 700ml of oil. The mechanic said that its because i keep it on high rpm on the highway. I have to say that it doesnt leak from anywhere and i keep it really high on rpms like 8/9k

I could see oil consumption if you are steadily running that rpm for long periods. Two things I would suggest is a catch can to see if oil consumption is coming from the crank breather and reduce the rear sprocket size to lower cruising rpm’s. I’m going to drop down to a 43 tooth soon as well.

@@Bama_390 very interested in hearing about the differences when you change the rear sprocket size. I’ve been doing tests on which gears I run it in on back road twisties. 3rd or 4th or in other words whether I’m riding in revs of 5-8000 rpm’s or 6-9000 rpm’s. I’m finding the gear windows are short in 1st-3rd. To get the speed I want in 3rd I have to really rev high, say 9000 and even then I’m at its limit. 4th is smoother or has a taller rev window, I don’t know. But even with the revs being lower I fell I’m getting torque similar to what you get at 8000-9000 rpm. When I can be in a gear and get the pull I want and not have to be at 9000-9500rpms the bike is more comfortable to ride. Bigger bikes have bigger gear windows , certain gears are the sweet spot and the gears above and below are a no go. With this bike the gears have pluses and minuses. 3rd is a bit short, but 4th seems to still give good torque delivery even though the rpm’s are on the lower side. Bike might be good as a 5 speed I don’t know. Just with my tests as mph changes depending on road constitution the 3rd gear forces you into high revs a lot. I had triumph 675 Daytona r that I could stay in 2nd all day, you could do 65mph before needed to shift. But at least with the 390 you can ride it differently and try different gears and rev it differently.

He took of the original large underbelly exhaust from the 2024 and got the small extension pipe to make the ixil slip on fit. The small extension pipe he got from ixil as well. Both parts are specifically for the 2024 390 duke.
I’ve been working long hours but my son and I are working on a video to show the difference in all the baffles from idle, rev, and acceleration.

To get the best gains yes. I dynoed and it put out 40hp and showed lean up top. So with a proper time should see 45ish to the wheel
