The mountain biking in Sedona, AZ is awesome. There are trails to meet everyone's skill level. The biggest issue for me, coming from Minnesota, was the elevation change. We're only about 800' or so above sea level so this was definitely a little higher! The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival was great and there are quite a few trail options you can head to right from the festival. For my first day I hit up the Adobe Jack trail after checking out the festival. If you've been following my channel I stopped in Tulsa, Amarillo, and Albuquerque to ride on my way here so I wanted a somewhat easy first day. You can check out some of this videos on my channel as well if you have an interest.
Adobe Jack is a Blue trail about 2 miles long with a few technical spots and some smaller punchy climbs but it was definitely a fun ride. The big advantage is that you can ride it directly from the festival and be back fairly quickly depending upon your skill level. There are also some bigger loops that you can add in to get a longer ride. I decided to roll the Reeb Sqweeb as this was my first Sedona ride. The Sqweeb was overkill for Adobe Jack but still totally doable. I rolled the Ibis Exie later in the day and the next as well. If I was going to hit some of the more technical black trails I would have broken out the Sqweeb again. Next time!
Definitely some fun trails in the area. If you want to get updates on new content, make sure you hit that subscribe button! Thanks for watching. Now, get outside!
